Welcome to EAT THAI EATERY, a family-owned Thai restaurant in the heart of Hamilton, New Zealand.

Before opening EAT THAI EATERY, we spent 11 years working together at Jasmine Cafe & Thai Restaurant in Taumarunui and Jasmine Thai Restaurant in Otorohanga. After many years of working in the restaurant industry, we decided to take the next step and open a place of our own.

The name EAT comes from the initials of the three members of our family, making this restaurant especially meaningful to us. It’s more than just a name — it represents our family and a new chapter in our lives.

With our experience and love for Thai food, we want to share the flavours of Thailand with the Hamilton community. Our menu offers a variety of Thai dishes, prepared with care. While some dishes are slightly adapted to suit local tastes, we always aim to stay true to the authentic flavours of Thai cuisine.

Our goal is simple: to serve good food, provide friendly service, and create a welcoming place where everyone can enjoy a meal with family and friends.
